(Description)
I served as the lead designer for the 2024 rebrand of KCDW, a week-long Kansas City event that brings the design community together through speakers, workshops, exhibitions, and social gatherings. I collaborated closely with my partner Mason Barry, who led the project’s 3D animation work. The identity system centered around a custom-built logo composed of a range of stylized letterforms, reflecting the diversity of voices, disciplines, and creative perspectives represented throughout KCDW. Supporting the logo was a playful modular icon system inspired by building blocks, designed to capture the experimental and collaborative spirit of the design community. Final brand assets were delivered to the client for implementation across the event’s website, social media, and environmental applications.
This project was carried out as a freelance collaboration for KCDW between myself and fellow 3D artist Mason Barry.
