Created for the 2024 State Fair of Texas, the commemorative theme art celebrates the larger than life traditions and memories that define the Fair experience. Inspired by the idea that every fairgoer leaves with a “haul” of unforgettable moments, the illustration imagines Big Tex driving away with a pickup truck overflowing with iconic Fair imagery, from blue ribbons and livestock to fried food, games, and midway attractions. Designed as a playful and detail rich visual narrative, the artwork captures the energy, nostalgia, and Texas sized personality of the Fair while functioning across merchandise, promotional campaigns, environmental graphics, and large scale branding throughout the event.
