Vine Street Brewing, Missouri’s first Black-owned brewery, is located in the heart of Kansas City’s historic 18th & Vine Jazz District, where community, creativity, and cultural expression intersect. As Lead Designer on the project, I helped develop the brand’s visual identity through a custom illustration library inspired by the graphic language and energy of vintage jazz posters. My illustrations were applied across a wide range of brand assets, including business cards, environmental graphics, merchandise, and packaging, most notably the can artwork for Jazzman, Vine Street’s Black Lager. The resulting visual system captures the vibrancy and character of the district while helping establish a distinctive and memorable presence for one of the region’s most important craft breweries.
