In 2023, the legendary CMA Fest celebrated 50 years, becoming the longest-running Country Music festival in the world. Each year, tens of thousands of fans from all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and 39 international countries are hosted in Nashville, Tennessee. To honor this moment in history, I was in charge of crafting a fresh new logo, as well as a modular quilt of illustrations showcasing recognizable memories of the past, and a glimpse of what country music can be in the future.
To commemorate fifty years of CMA, the logo was crafted with a folky and modular shape based "50" anchoring the bottom, featuring a hidden microphone in the negative space. The illustrations are a nod to the stories told in country musics past.
